Proper tooth AND gum care is essential for a good oral health. We recommend a regular professional tooth cleaning with the prophylaxis assistant Mr. Kastner (he is an early bird and offers appointments already at 7am) or with the hygienist (DH). Well cleaned teeth and healthy gums have a proven positive impact on your fitness and overall health, especially on your heart.

Early tooth decay can be recognized by white chalky-looking demineralized areas on the tooth surface or in an x-ray. A modern technique called Curodont Repair and developed in Switzerland, can regenerate the tooth enamel. Gentle, pain-free and without drilling.

CEREC stands for ceramic reconstruction, for developed in Zurich and above all for crowns in 2 hours and ceramic fillings in 1 hour. Those white crowns are very durable, esthetic, strong and metal-free. No nasty impressions needed, simply scan and watch the new tooth being designed and milled.

As a school dentist I carry out the annual check-up for all children (with and without a voucher). If a tooth breaks off profoundly, it often can no longer support a new crown. In such a case a new anchor is needed and replaces the tooth. We place such an implant (Swiss products) based on a 3D or panoramic image using a minimally invasive / gentle technique, which results in no downtime for you. After a healing period of two months the crown or bridge is placed on top. You will not notice any difference compared to your natural teeth.

With a good periodontal therapy we aim for reducing inflammation, stopping bone loss, improving oral hygiene and maintaining long-term periodontal stability.

A healthy root is the foundation for a crown or bridge. If there is a chronic inflammation at the root tip, often only visible on an x-ray, bacteria can travel from there through the body to e.g. the heart valve. That is why we remove such sources of infection with absolute precision using magnification loupes or a microscope.
